"Aloud’s sound pays homage to the history of rock ’n’ roll. The Los Angeles-via-Boston band could have fit in nicely with ’60s Stax artists, British invasion acts or Brit pop stars. But Aloud’s single, ’Children of the Divine,’ looks to the future." • Includes b-side "(I Just Want) To Be Free".
“ ‘Son of the Dharma’ could easily be a testament to the holy grail of rock with powerful vocals by de la Osa, who takes crunchy guitar strums and manipulates their potency with a soulful harmony.” • Includes b-side "Last of the Evergreens".
This version of "The Last Time" was recorded at the start of the sessions for the 2010 album Exile with producer Daniel Nicholas Daskivich. It frequently opened shows on the Exile tour and has quickly become a fan favorite.
Aloud’s second full-length release is an emotionally charged dichotomy of passionate rebellion and contemplative acceptance. Aloud delivers driving grooves and dynamic melodies wrapped up in themes of struggle, perseverance, injustice, and love.
