"Release" featured in award winning docu "The Mixtress"
Music by Aloud has been featured in a short documentary on audiophile and The Mixtress founder Jules Bennett.The film was made by Wideshot Studios, and placed 16th (out of 122) in the 2008 International Documentary Challenge.
"Release" is the opening track from Aloud's 2006 album Leave Your Light On, and also opens the film and soundtrack.
The soundtrack to the film won Best Soundtrack in the 2008 International Documentary Challenge. Aloud was featured alongside acts such as The Walkmen, The Cardigans, and fellow Bostonians The Cyanide Valentine.
The Mixtress is a mix CD exchange/found art project based out of Portland, OR with the aim of exposing "the listener to a variety of music and create a tangible and visceral connection in this digital age".

Aloud radio interview this Saturday
Aloud makes an appearance on The Dweezil Show this Saturday evening on WMFO in Medford. Tune in as the band talks about their upcoming show at TT the Bear's, road stories from their spring tour, Fan The Fury, and may even perform a song or two.The Dweezil Show is broadcast on WMFO 91.5 FM (Medford, MA) between 7pm and 9pm, and can be heard online at www.wmfo.org.

The Noise Top 30 Radio Chart is based on the amount of radio airplay given to locally released CDs. It's compiled by RadioTony using playlists from WAAF, WBCN, WFNX, WMBR, WMFO, WTCC, and WZBC.
